Screech, Tumble and Ting...SOUTHampton + PORTsmouth = SOUTHPORT

Paul and Helen's wedding was at the fabulous Rhinefield House Hotel in the New Forest, Hampshire.

After a very relaxed bridal prep to the sounds of classical music, the peace was briefly interrupted with the arrival of an enormous spider clearly intent on climbing up the inside of the bride’s dress [SCREECH].  He was quickly "re-housed" and we made our way to the local church.

It was a lovely ceremony with just a couple of mishaps - a bridesmaid took a TUMBLE down the aisle and the vicar dropped the groom’s ring [TING] - but everything else ran as smoothly as the beautiful white Rolls Royce that awaited the happy couple to take them off to the fabulous venue of Rhinefield House for their Reception.

The grounds of Rhinefield were full of photo-opportunities.

Giving us chance to photograph some slightly more adventurous group shots.

Including this fabulous heart-shaped group shot. We couldn't have wished for better guests to work with. It was surprisingly easy to form up the heart even with such a large number of guests.

There were some lovely places for portraits.

Including the use of Rhinefield's latest addition to their magnificent gardens. Here we were able to shoot a voyeur's point of view of a secret meeting of the lovely couple...I love the two empty glasses on the wall. Their drinks finished...now time for a secret embrace.

It wasn't just the garden that was full of portrait-promise - the sky was fabulous too.

But the very best part of the day? The obvious love Paul and Helen had for each other.

You'll see here Paul and Helen holding up football shirts of Southport United as presented to them by the Father of the bride. The curious thing is, neither of them support Southport. So why did he buy them?

One of them supports SOUTHampton and one of them supports PORTsmouth. In the spirit of marital compromise, the Father of the bride felt the best solution was for them to both support SOUTHPORT.

More hilarity was had as the the excellent caricaturist worked his talent on the evening guests.

The day ended with a gentle First Dance in front of their guests.

It was a lovely day and we wish Paul and Helen the very best for their future together.
